Palmeiras beleives in victory against Flamengo

This Sunday Palmeiras plays against Flamengo inPalmeiras stadium. Flamengo is one of the top teams of Brazil so it wont be an easy match. All players from Palmeiras beleive that they will win the match and many goals will be scored throughout the match. Palmeiras striker Obina is not playing this match due to the fact that he is loaned by Palmeiras and he is still from Flamengo. Flamengo said that if Palmeiras want Obina to pay they will have to pay 400,000 dollars so Palmeiras refused the offer and thought that it was not worth spending all this money so Obina can play. Vagner Love which is Palmeiras best striker said that the team needs to win the match against Flamengo to increase the teams confidence which is not so high because Palmeiras last badly last week against Nautico from Recife. palmeiras is still in the first place of the tournament and had everything to win the only thing missing is a little extra dedication from all players. The tie at yesterdays match didnt affect much but a victory would make Palmeiras gain more points. Vagner Love Palmeiras best striker received a red card the last due to a agressive tackle so he wont be playing the next match. Palmeiras has everything to become the next champion of the brazilian league and has a very strong squad.

Last night Palmeiras went to Belo Horizonte to play againt Cruzeiro one of the strongest club of the brazilian league. Palmeiras won the match 2 to 1 but the players of Cruzeiro blames the referee for the defeat. At the begginning of the second half Palmeiras lost the left wing Armero due to a red card. Palmeiras played the whole second half with 10 players on the field. Palmeiras is still in the first place in the league and now plays Atlético Paranaense in Palmeiras home stadium, Palestra Italia. Palmeiras beleives that they can win the championship if they continue playing the same way. Palmeiras has everything to become the next champion of the brazilian league.

Pierre that is one of Palmeiras best defensive midfielderd gave an interview the other day of how drinking affected him as a professional at the begginning of his career. He said that he would go out to bars and to clubs then go straight to the training area drunk or there were time in which he didnt even show up at the teams training facility. He would skip practice and he was to lazy. Now a days he said that he totally regrets what he have done and he dreams of playing on the brazilians national team and going to tghe worl cup. He struggles very hard and passses through a very difficult moment in his life. He just lost a son and he is out of the brazilian league due to a severe injury.

Palmaeiras Vs Vitoria

Palmeiras played againt Vitoria this Sunday at ``Barradão´´and lost badly. Palmeiras lost 3 to 2 but has starters player that didnt play due to injuries or suspensions. Iat wasnt that bad because Palmeiras is still in first place in the Brazilian soccer league. Obviously it affected the taem due to the fact that the team that is in second place Internacional from Rio Grande Do Sul has almost the same number of points as Palmeiras. Next Wednesday Palmeiras goes to Minas Gerais to play againt Cruzeiro which is a tough team to beat. I hope palmeiras wins.

Palmeiras both midfielders Diego Souza and Cleiton Xavier went to Salvador to play for Brazil against Chile for the Worl Cup qualification.

Pierre is one of Palmeiras best midfielders and he will not be playing anymore for three months due to an injury in his leg.
